Main Features- TE-AF was developed for robotic welding applications where the tube is subjected to weld spatter.
TE-AF can be connected with one-touch fittings without removing the outer jacket as with the LE
series tubing. - TE-AF is a Polyether base PUR material with of a special rubber material. The performance of this
material complies with 94UL (Underwriters Laboratory) V0 specification. When weld spatter comes
in contact with the protective jacket material, the rubber become carbonized. - Can be used for cooling water line ad air piping.
- Much more flexibility than Nylon tubing.
Operation Precautions- This material will be carbonized when in contact with material over 500-degree C intermittent use. It is not
intended for use a constant environment of weld spatters at these temperatures. - Polyether base PUR is suitable for water applications and is hydrolysis resistant but this material is not
suitable for treated water which contains chlorine. - The Oxygen index method No. of this material is 28. Density of oxygen on atmospheric is approx. 20.
There-fore, this numerical value shows that this material does not burn easily. - The material was tested in accordance with the UL94 VO specification at the material manufacturer's lab.
While the performance of the material complies with the UL specification, it is not endorsed by UL.
